Waitrose Gallery, Brighton, England
French sculptor Laury Dizengremel (residing in England) is currently holding a "Faces of China" exhibition of works derived from her participation in a sculpture symposium in 2000. The exhibition at the WAITROSE GALLERY in BRIGHTON, ENGLAND shows a variety of takes on figurative, realistic portraiture, ranging from full over-lifesize busts in bronze resin to a fanciful and imaginary Chinese couple sculpture, as well as sober steel rings framing single plaster fragments of faces. This exhibition lasts until the end of March, and beginning of April she rolls out another one entitled "Portraits" in the same venue, showing recent bronze portrait sculptures.
