We are accepting jpeg image attachments to your postings as long as it they meet the size requirements of less than 70k and less than 640 X 640 pixels.
Please try and make them much smaller than that. If we get too many big pictures we will have to reduce the size limitations. Acceptable jpeg's for web viewing might be only 15-25k and 250 X 250 pixels or less - which can easily be done if you are careful when you save them. In summary, I encourage people to save their photos as jpg's and select options to make them smaller. This is usually done in the quality settings dialogue box most programs offer while you are saving or exporting the file as a jpeg. If we get too many big photos our threads will load slow and we want the forum to load for you as quick as possible.

Avatars are limited to gif or jpeg images and must be less than 64 X 64 pixels and 20k.
We prefer gif files be used for avatars as they usually end up about 8k and still look good. For jpeg files please read the help topic on attachments here: http://sculpture.net/community/showt...hp?threadid=19 But be sure to observe the image limit of 64 X 64 pixels or it will not be accepted by the system. There are now a few system avatars that I have uploaded that you can use after you have made at least five posts. |
