Sculpture Calendar April 30, 2003 Columbus, Ohio David Hostetler's newest wood and bronze sculptures opened at Gallery V in Columbus, Ohio on April 12, 2003. His 8 foot "Asherah" in Ipe wood, a very rare wood from Sri Lanka sold opening night for a new wood carving record of $95,000. His newest "Anasazi Fetish" sculptures which break new ground are on view in addition to paintings that incorporate sculptures. The show continues through May 10, 2003. Gallery V is at 694 N. High St. Columbus, Ohio 43215, 614-228-8955 Corpus Christi, Texas Robert Perless was recently in Texas to install a major work in the City of Corpus Christi. It is based on the pattern of the ground points of the stars in the Orion Constellation.
