Serbian Villages Like Cultural Icon Statues

And You Thought The Rocky Statue Was Weird

You may recall how the Serbian village of Zitiste was planning to erect a statue in honor of Rocky. Not to be outdone, the Serbian town of Cacak has made public plans to build a statue of Samantha Fox. Okay…

In case you don’t know much about her, Samantha Fox was a British glamour model who regularly appeared in The Sun’s Page 3, before becoming something of a pop star during the 1980s. She is most famous for winning the genetic lottery with regards to her chess

The article quoted a local as saying “We love her. She is an authentic sex symbol of the 1980s, so why shouldn’t we have a monument to her. Other towns have their heroes in parks, so why can’t we?”

Re: Serbian Villages Like Cultural Icon Statues

Well, well, well. The plan for a Samantha Fox marble statue for this Serbian town has been called off, after she blew it. See story below.

'Stroppy' Sam lost her bust

PLANS for a statue of Samantha Fox have been scrapped — after she snubbed concert fans for singing about her BOOBS.

A life-size marble of the former Page Three girl had been planned in Serbian town Cacak after she agreed to perform a pop concert there.

But the singer stormed off stage at the gig after the crowd began a chant about seeing her breasts.....

Sam, 40, then failed to turn up for a dinner in her honour with Serbian minister Velimir Ilic.

Now the statue’s backers have scrapped the busty tribute....

Amen.

Oops. I looked back at the original quote. It is supposed to say "She is most famous for winning the genetic lottery with regards to her chest." It is chest, not chess.

I would not know if it hers are silicone or genetic. You can try to ask her.

Whatever it is, a marble statue of her would be stunning, even more than this bronze.
