What % should I charge for T-shirts?
I have a dedication coming up for an 8' bronze, an indian mother and child for the Trail of Tears. A t-shirt company would like to use my image for their t-shirts. What % should I charge or should I just go for a single payment?

I would try for a royalty/percentage. Say, payments per 500 shirts. It is a cut throat market, and I imagine their margins are small. They would also have a procedure they'd normally use.
Make sure you limit the agreement to allow some control over changes/cropping of your image... and the inclusion of a credit. Also make it non-exclusive, so that you can use the image for other projects. And perhaps consider a sunset clause, so that as an old man your not seeing it used when you'd rather it was not. And think about limiting to shirts, else you could see the most tacky commercial product seemily endorsed by your work. But also, it is good fun, and exposure, so I wouldn't take it too seriously (dependant on who it is doing it). Best of luck with it.

Araich, thanks for your insight. Do you have any idea as to how much %? 5%, 10%, 20%?

Well that depends on who's selling them, and whether they're quality shirts etc.
If they've done other art, track down the artist and compare. I would imagine a low %.
