You make some really wonderfull stuff. I especially like your current work. Very creative and very colorful. I also like the fact that you give each work a person's name. Have you thought about giving these 'creatures', if I may call them that, a general name? I mean like a 'species'-name, like 'Muppets' or 'Wombles' or something. Just an idea. You're basicaly creating a 'universe' of these creature. I like it. I look forward to seeing new work when you have it. I would like to add a link from my website to yours, if that's ok with you.

Hi rjustin, I second novabelgica's comments, nice work, and fun flash animations.

I'm also an alumni of KCAI, and am glad to welcome you to our community. We are a good diverse group and appreciate your viewpoint as a recent grad. Are you still in KC or have you moved on?

Ripper, your work put a smile on my face this morning. I'm out early to the workshop today but wanted to say welcome.

Hi rjustin,
I like the colors too and your use of fabrim makes me feel like just getting out my sewing machine too. One thing about the website is that "back" buttons would be helpful to the viewer in terms of ease of navigation.
Keep experimenting with the media. You seem to have a good sense of direction.

Re: young artist any thoughts welcome

r justin - Welcome! As Russ said, we don't have a lot of students or recent grads here yet, but the number is increasing, and I think the fresh point of view is a great addition in each case. FYI, I got an animated initial page, but had to click each “individual’s” page twice for it to appear. I think I have the latest Flash on my Netscape browser, but it seems there are sometimes problems.

Keep contributing!

Welcome, r justin! I'll second that thanks for the smile. Very fun and colorful work. Yeah, not too many college art grads on here. Lot of dropouts and non-art major folk I'd say. A broad mix of views is a good thing indeed.

Sam

Love the mix of materials and the general fun loving thrust of your work. There's a show my kids are glued to 'Bing and Bong' I think its called - very weird (I was raised on the Flintstones you understand). The show, like your work, contains a whole new world, populated by unfamiliar 'citizens' of odd shapes and sizes that catch and hold my attention whenever I see them.

I'd like to visit a room filled with your sculptures some day.
