This bronze relief, 25" H, was inspired by the Anazazi site at Chaco Canyon with its brown sand stone structures and desert surround. There, as in many other primal sites, a spiral is a constantly reocurring image. It is part of a series of works referential to many ways of seeing the earth and landscape - from radar images, thermal imaging, spiritual, and satellite photography to microwave scans.
