Scarface and other menacing sculpture

There's not a lot truly menacing figure sculpture around because -- well, because who wants to be menaced?

There's those ferocious Japanese temple guardians - but don't they feel like the big, bad guys who are on your side?

And then, there's all the monster figurines made for children today -- but are they really any more threatening than Ozzy Osbourne?

On the other hand -- this Scarface from 2000 BCE does seem like he would like to do you harm.

Here's the website that explains all about him:

Allegedly, the scar is what keeps him under control (plus a needle that would be inserted through his lips to keep him quiet)

The other menacing figure that comes to mind was this life-size terra cotta found in the ruins of an Aztec temple. Unless you were a priest, seeing him meant that very soon your guts, just like his, would soon be on the floor.

But what about menacing figures from the past few hundred years? Can anyone think of any?

Not picturing any off the top of my head, but bet there could be a great one called "the landlord".
Taking my own advice
