Your most influential college profs

Post links here to websites displaying the artwork of your most influential college professors.

For me it was Eddie Dominguez

Adding: He pushed us to think in innovative ways to consider collaborative work; to garner inspiration from what we were passionate about; to be yourself (as cheesy as this sounds!) and not wear a mask. In a stereotypical sense, he was the best kind of art teacher, fostering creativity with a mostly invisible structure.

Re: Your most influential college profs

Richard Ash at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Tx. I know for a fact that he doesn't remember me but then again I doubt any of my profs do. Richard Ash is a print maker who chased me around the studio with a huge pair of scissors when I walked in there covered with clay from the ceramics studio. I only took drawing and design from him but I believe I learned the most from those classes about making art than I did from the people I studied sculpture under.

As funny as it seems the 2nd most influential was Vernon Fisher who teaches painting at North Texas State University.

Another thing that I just realised is that untill I pulled these guys up on the net I have never seen any of their work before.

Gael Stack at the University of Houston. A painter actually. She simply informed me that I indeed could " take this art thing as far as I wanted too", it was encouragement that has resounded for twenty something years now.
